What subjects does your company tutor?
We tutor all subjects for all age levels. Most of our students are high school students however.
How do you hire your tutors?
Our tutors are experience college students, graduate students, and educators from the area. All of them go though a thorough background check.
How do I set up a session?
To set up a session, please visit Contact Us and fill out an inquiry form. We will respond to you within 24 hours. Once the form is filled out, we will find you a tutor that fits your needs.
Where does tutoring take place?
For students located in the Buffalo area, it can be at a home or a public place (library, coffee shop, bookstore). For students who live outside the Buffalo area, we also conduct online tutoring.
How often will I / my student meet with the tutor?
This is up to you. Most of our students meet on a weekly basis; however, it is up to you how frequently you meet. For example, many students will meet more before a big exam.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request that all cancellations give 24 hours notice. For cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session, there will be a half session fee. For sessions within six hours of the scheduled session, there will be a full session charge.
Does Ace Tutoring offer tutoring packages?
No, as of right now, we work on a per-session basis.
How long are the sessions?
The minimum length of a session is one hour; however, sessions can be as long as you need.
